Course outline

  • The course is 9CFU (about 72 hours, roughly split as 48h of lectures and 24h of computer exercises in Python). The course provides the students with the fundamentals of data analysis, including hypothesis testing, linear regression and classification. Throughout the course, special emphasis is put on the correct interpretation of the results of the analysis process. At the end of the course, students will be able to properly formulate simple data analysis problems and to solve them by using Python.
